Get the Look: The Graphic Smoky Eye
The Smoky Eye Set includes all the essentials for a metallic, graphic smoky eye. Here's how you can get Kate's look:
Start with a layer of Natural Definition Eye Pencil in Ink to lay a bold base for your eyeshadows. This gives more vibrant color payoff and that graphic metallic finish. Use the side of the pencil to blend from the lash line to crease, and outward, as if you were connecting winged liner to your crease. Blend Ink along the lower lash line as well.
Next, add Pressed Eyeshadow. Use the Contour Shadow Brush to blend Pressed Eyeshadow in Volt over Ink. Follow with a layer of Pressed Eyeshadow in Myth blended onto the center of the lid with the Mini Blending Brush.
Bonus: for extra definition in the crease where your eyeshadow ends, set the edge with a light dusting of powder that matches your skin or adds a hint of brightness. Satin Matte Foundation, Satin Finishing Powder, Concealer, or a Satin Matte Eyeshadow that's close to your skin tone works well for this.
Finish with a coat (or two, just be sure to wait between them!) of Natural Definition Mascara in Black. This smooth, sumptuous formula brings out the best in your lashes--keeping them long, defined, lightweight and lifted for all-day flutter.
