(We’re talking 110 degrees in Portland, OR, and yes, that is unprecedented.) If you’re not treading cool blue water until the heat passes, we sincerely hope you’ve got some AC in your life. If you’re sticking it out at the office trying to keep things looking and feeling professional despite extreme heat, we’ve got just the makeup look for you.
The peak of summer is an excellent time to embrace your skin’s natural dewiness by keeping your coverage lightweight and your complexion fresh. Here’s what we’d recommend:
Step 1:
Start with Smooth + Prime over well-moisturized skin to extend the wear of your makeup.
Step 2:
Sunscreen. Our products layer beautifully with it.
Step 3:
If you’re up for it, apply Liquid Silk Foundation and/or Cream Concealer sparingly. Keep layers minimal and spare, focusing mainly on the t-zone. If your coverage is light and well-blended, you can keep the rest of your face mostly bare for a no-makeup makeup finish.
